CFISD Virtual Academy - Elementary Program
The CFISD Virtual Academy offers a flexible, high-quality online learning experience that maintains the same rigorous standards as our in-person classrooms. Taught by certified CFISD teachers, all courses blend asynchronous flexibility with structured teacher support, empowering students to take ownership of their education while easily balancing academics with personal schedules, family needs, or extracurricular commitments.
While both high school and elementary models include daily asynchronous activities, the Elementary Program, launching in 2026-27 for 4th and 5th grade students, is designed specifically with age-appropriate engagement and best practices in mind. To ensure strong student understanding and active participation, our younger learners will experience significantly more live, synchronous instruction with their classmates and teacher, along with scheduled small group sessions and individual conferences.
