Virtual Academy (Full-Time online learning)
The CFISD Virtual Academy provides students with a flexible, high-quality online learning experience while maintaining the same rigorous standards as our face-to-face classrooms. Taught by certified CFISD teachers, courses are designed with a blend of asynchronous flexibility and structured teacher support, allowing students to take ownership of their learning while balancing academics with personal schedules, family needs, or extracurricular commitments.
The program is ideal for students who thrive in a self-directed environment, can manage their time effectively, and meet deadlines independently. It also benefits those who prefer a quieter, personalized setting or who need flexibility for health reasons, unique schedules, or participation in extracurricular activities or jobs.
Students in the Virtual Academy remain fully connected to their home campuses and the CFISD community. They have access to the same resources as any CFISD student, including teachers, counselors, tutoring opportunities, and extracurricular activities such as clubs, athletics, and school events. The CFISD Virtual Academy gives students and families the choice to learn in a way that fits their individual needs while staying fully engaged with their school and district community.
